1000 GUINEAS 1816

The 3rd winner of the 1000 Guineas, held on Thursday 2nd May 1816 over the Ditch Mile, was Rhoda (3/1), a bay filly by Asparagus out of Rosaballa, owned by the 5th Duke of Rutland. A field of 6 runners contested the race which was worth £1155 (Equivalent to £94,800 in 2017)
